Commatters Speech Therapy currently accepts referrals from a range of sources. You can find more information below:

Private - parents/carers, general practitioners, paediatricians and other allied health professionals can refer. You do not need a doctor’s referral for a consultation.

National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) - Commatters Speech Therapy currently accepts NDIS referrals for NDIS participants who are plan-managed and self-managed.

Medicare - Medicare funding options do require a doctor’s referral. Clients can be seen under: Chronic Disease Management Plan or the Helping Children with Autism program. Medicare rebates do not cover the total cost of consultations. Please note: Commatters Speech Therapy does not bulk bill. You will be required to pay the full fee up front and then claim the gap fee yourself through Medicare.
